Classification of plastic-coated steel pipes

The coating raw materials of plastic-coated steel pipes include epoxy resin (epoxy powder) and polyethylene. The inner wall of the pipe is thermally sintered with epoxy powder as a coating, and the outer wall of the pipe is generally made of epoxy powder or polyethylene for anti-corrosion. Epoxy powder is a kind of thermosetting coating. The steel pipe is first subjected to shot blasting and rust removal, followed by medium-frequency heating. Then electrostatic spraying technology is used to spray the epoxy powder on the surface of the pipe and solidify it to form a coating.

According to the differences in coating raw materials, they include internal and external plastic-coated steel pipes, external galvanized and internal plastic-coated steel pipes, internal epoxy external polyethylene anti-corrosion steel pipes, TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipes, etc.
According to the purpose, it includes fire-fighting plastic-coated steel pipes, mining plastic-coated steel pipes, water supply and drainage plastic-coated steel pipes, tap water supply plastic-coated steel pipes, and cable protection plastic-coated steel pipes.
According to the installation method, they include overhead plastic-coated steel pipes, municipal pipe gallery plastic-coated steel pipes, and underground plastic-coated steel pipes.
The connection method includes threaded connection of plastic-coated steel pipe, clamp groove connection of plastic-coated steel pipe, flange connection of plastic-coated steel pipe, bimetal welding of plastic-coated steel pipe, and flexible socket of plastic-coated steel pipe.

Customers can choose different plastic-coated steel pipes according to different uses, anti-corrosion level requirements, and connection methods of the pipelines.
