Rust removal technology for large-diameter spiral steel pipes

The surface of spiral steel pipe is mainly polished with wire brush, etc. Cleaning and preheating of large-diameter spiral steel pipes can remove loose or floating scales, rust, welding slag, etc. The rust removal ability of hand tools can reach the Sa2 level, while the rust removal ability of power tools can reach the Sa3 level. If the steel surface adheres to the oxide scale, the rust removal effect of the tool will not be satisfactory, and the anchoring depth required for anti-corrosion structures cannot be achieved.

Pickling
Use solvents and emulsifiers to clean the surface of welded steel pipes for low-pressure fluid delivery to remove oil, grease, dust, lubricants, and similar organic matter, but cannot remove rust, flux, etc. on the surface of the steel pipe. The same is true in the production of anti-corrosion steel pipes.

Usually, chemical cleaning and electrolysis are used for pickling. Pipe corrosion protection is simply chemical pickling, and sometimes sandblasting and rust removal can be followed by post-treatment with rust and old coatings to remove scale. Although chemical cleaning can achieve a certain degree of cleanliness and roughness, its anchoring pattern is relatively shallow and can easily cause pollution to the stacking environment of large-diameter spiral steel pipes.
