1.Whether the strip steel’s surface has breaks, pits, burrs, or pitting. Strip steel is wrapped in big rolls before it leaves the warehouse. In actuality, since the production of outer strip steel is dependent upon a number of process conditions, this primarily depends upon the exposed outer surface and the horizontal surface. 1. The warehouse is able to store a variety of cold-rolled, cold-drawn steels, expensive, corrosive metal products, small steel, thin steel plates, steel strips, silicon steel plates, small diameter or thin-walled steel pipes, and so on.
2. Small and medium-sized steel items, such as wire rods, bars, steel pipes with a medium diameter, steel wires, steel wire ropes, etc., can be kept in a material shed with good ventilation, but they need to be covered with matting.
3. It is forbidden to stack substances that corrode steel, such as acids, alkalis, salts, cement, etc., in the warehouse. It is best to stack different kinds of steel apart to avoid confusion and contact corrosion.
4. Items that can be stacked outdoors include large steel, rails, steel plates, large diameter steel pipes, forgings, etc.
5. Weeds and other debris that releases toxic gases or dust should be kept out of the area or warehouse where spiral steel pipe products are stored, and the steel itself should be kept clean.
