What are the uses of IPN8710 anti-corrosion steel pipe for tap water and drinking water?
① Modification of epoxy resin. Epoxy resin is the most widely used and important resin to date. However, a major limitation of using epoxy resin on the inner wall of heavy-duty IPN8710 anti-corrosion steel pipe is its poor weather resistance, easy powdering, high brittleness, easy discoloration, and unsuitability for processing into the inner wall of heavy-duty IPN8710 steel pipe resistant to chemical atmospheres.
② Modification of acrylic resin. Acrylic resin is a synthetic resin with high decorative and excellent protective properties. The main advantages of IPN8710 anti-corrosion steel pipe are good outdoor weather resistance, excellent adhesion, good alkali resistance, excellent gloss and color retention, good UV resistance, good moisture resistance, salt spray resistance, mildew resistance, good heat resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, bright and rich colors, hardness and wear resistance, and good water and oil resistance. However, it has weaknesses such as poor ammonia resistance and unsatisfactory resistance to oxidizing acids, acetic acid, and ethanol.
③ Modification of IPN8710 anti-corrosion steel pipe with chlorine-containing rubber. IPN8710 anti-corrosion steel pipe uses chlorinated rubber, which refers to a rubber polymer containing a large number of chlorine atoms. Its advantages include flame retardancy and self-extinguishing properties, mildew resistance, good water, acid, alkali, and salt resistance, excellent chemical corrosion resistance, good mechanical strength, and construction is not limited by season or climate conditions. It also dries quickly and can form a film at low temperatures. However, it has drawbacks such as a thin coating, poor high-temperature resistance (generally not exceeding 60℃), poor impermeability, poor solvent and moisture resistance, and difficulty in producing high-solids-content IPN8710 anti-corrosion steel pipe inner walls.
④ Modification of other resins. Utilizing the advantages of chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber, various resins such as alkyd resin, phenolic resin, etc., were modified.
